Kubernetes and CNCF Technologies: An Inspiring Evening of Networking and Expertise
Our office was once again filled with professionals in web development and cloud technologies. This time, the event’s theme focused on Kubernetes and CNCF technologies. The event attracted a large number of participants and could also be followed via livestream.
Monad’s Senior Software Engineers, Tuomas Peltola and Aki Haapamäki, gave a presentation on “Kubernetes-as-Pulumi: Using Pulumi to Manage Kubernetes Resources.” Their talk covered how Pulumi can be used to manage Kubernetes resources. Additionally, they provided practical examples of how this approach can enhance developers’ work efficiency.

In the evening’s second presentation, Intel’s Mikko Ylinen explained the concept of CNCF Confidential Containers and delved into the intricacies of Confidential Computing technologies. His presentation offered insights into how services handling sensitive data can be executed in public cloud environments using Confidential Containers.
The event was filled with lively discussions and active networking. Many new connections were made, and participants gained a wealth of new knowledge and inspiration for their work. The opportunity to share practical experiences and learn from each other was particularly appreciated.
