June has become established as International Pride Month, during which we celebrate sexual and gender minorities worldwide. The significance of Pride has grown even further, as many belonging to these minorities still face challenges in dealing with inappropriate treatment, including in the workplace. Unfortunately, many still feel compelled to hide their identity and loved ones for fear of negative reactions. This is sad because everyone deserves to be accepted as they are.
